Agencies

If you track several products, or run analytics for clients, ClickClacks treats you as an agency: one team, many projects, one plan. Each client is a project with its own data, sources and members.

How agencies work

  • Agency: you, the customer. It holds your team and the plan.
  • Project: one client or product. Its data, sources, boards and members are its own.
  • Sources: the websites, apps and servers inside each project.

With a single project you never see the word “agency”. The agency home, switcher and inbox appear once you have a second project or an agency teammate.

Agency roles (Owner, Admin, Member) decide who manages the agency. They don’t give access inside projects by themselves: that is per project, or through staff access.

The agency home

Projects in the agency sidebar lists every project you can open, as cards. Each card shows the project’s sources, when its last event arrived, 7-day and 30-day active people, events this month and a daily sparkline. Click a card to open its Overview.

  • Needs attention filters to projects with a source that has gone silent for a day or more, or an open alert.
  • Sort by Most active, Name or Most events.
  • The header shows events this month across all projects against your plan, split by project.
  • Visitors are counted in each project’s own time zone.

If you can open two or more projects, the app opens on the agency home.

Add a client project

  1. Click New project on the agency home, in the project switcher, or from ⌘K.
  2. Enter a Name, check the Address (app.clickclacks.io/app/…, with Change to edit it), the Website domain for its first source, and an optional Logo.
  3. Click Create project. It joins your plan, with no new trial.
  4. Copy the snippet for the client’s site, or the agent prompt, and click Go to project.

Agency Owners and Admins can create projects. You become the new project’s Owner. The snippet is always under the project’s Sources.

Switching projects

  • The project switcher at the top of the sidebar lists your projects A to Z, with Find a project to search and Recent ones first once you have five or more. It also has New project and the agency home.
  • ⌘J (Ctrl J on Windows and Linux) opens the quick switcher: Switch to a project…, with recent projects first. Use ↑ ↓ and Enter.
  • ⌘K lists projects under Switch to… too.

Switching keeps your place. If you are on Funnels with Last 7 days, you land on the other project’s Funnels with Last 7 days. From a specific board or funnel, you land on that section’s list.

Staff access

By default, agency staff only see projects they have been invited to. To give your team access to every client:

  1. Open Agency Settings › Project access. You need to be an agency Owner.
  2. Turn on Access all projects under Agency staff can access all projects.
  3. Under Who qualifies, tick the agency roles that should get access. Owner and Admin are ticked by default.
  4. Click Save.

Qualifying people get Member access to every project, including ones added later. People who already had access keep their role, and removing someone from one project by hand sticks. Turning it off removes only the access it gave.

Inviting clients

Invite a client into their own project from that project’s Settings › Members. They see only that project: never the agency, your other clients or your usage.

The alerts inbox

Alerts in the agency sidebar collects every alert from the projects you can open, grouped by project, with times in each project’s own time zone.

  • Filter by All, Firing, Resolved or Muted, over 24 hours, 7 days (the default), 30 days or 90 days, and by project.
  • Mark as seen and Mark all as seen keep track of what you have looked at. Seen is private to you.
  • The Weekly digest switch lives here. See Weekly digest.

Agency MCP keys

An agency MCP key lets an AI client read every project its creator can open, so one agent can write a weekly report for each client or compare them. Agency Owners and Admins create one under Agency Settings › MCP keys › Create agency key. It is shown once, and it is read-only. Agency keys are part of the Pro plan. Setup is in the MCP server developer docs.

One plan for every project

Your plan covers every project. Events from all of them count toward one monthly allowance, shown in Settings › Usage & plan and on the agency home. Seats and projects are unlimited.
