Mark a launch, a campaign or an outage once, and it shows up as a dated marker on every line chart in the project. Breakdown tiles can now be donuts, funnel tiles show how many people are left at each step and how many dropped between steps, and wide number tiles put the trend right beside the value.
Tiles come in small, medium and large, and they pack together, so two short tiles stack beside a tall one instead of leaving a gap. Add section headers to split a board into chapters, fill a row in one click, and save any board as a template for your next project or client.
Pin the boards you use most to the sidebar and give each one a colour so it’s easy to spot. Pick a home board and ClickClacks opens on it. On a phone, board filters now fold into a single Filters sheet.
Every number tile now shows its change against the previous period, coloured by whether that direction is good for that metric. Add an optional sparkline, or start an alert straight from the tile’s menu. Tiles that are being watched say so.
Heatmaps now draw clicks and scroll depth over a real screenshot of your page instead of a wireframe. Form fields, media and anything you mark as private are masked in the visitor’s browser before the screenshot is taken.
Reports no longer reload underneath you while you read them. Every report bar ends with a small freshness control that shows how current the numbers are, and one click brings them up to date.
Reports you’ve opened recently come back instantly, and filter dropdowns list property values the moment you open them. Person profiles now open in about a second, down from around four.
We corrected edge cases in how funnels, retention cohorts and friction findings were counted. Heatmaps now capture and report correctly for projects with more than one source.
Events is rebuilt around a query builder: filter by any property, open an event in place, and follow a person or session without losing your spot. Every person now has a full page with their profile, segments and activity, and board tiles drill into the data behind them.
The tracker now removes secret-looking URL parameters, such as tokens, passwords and email addresses, before anything is sent, and it never sends the part of the URL after the #. Text from form fields and elements you mark as private is never captured, and a single call opts a visitor out completely.
Watch any metric or saved funnel, and ClickClacks learns its usual range for each day of the week. When a number moves outside that range, you get an in-app alert that breaks down where the gap came from.
Open any friction finding, such as rage clicks on a button or clicks that do nothing, and ask about it in plain English. Every answer cites the events and reports it’s based on, and when the data can’t answer a question, it tells you so instead of guessing.
Create read-only API tokens and connect ClickClacks to any MCP-compatible assistant to ask about overviews, funnels, retention, events and friction. Traces records runs of your own AI agents, step by step with token counts, next to the people who started them.
Serve the tracker and collect events from a subdomain of your own site, like stats.yourcompany.com. ClickClacks checks your DNS record and sets up the certificate for you.
The first release brings Overview, Events, Realtime, Funnels, Retention, People, Heatmaps and Friction, all fed by one script tag. Experiments reads your A/B tests with always-valid intervals, so you can check results as often as you like, and it holds the verdict back when the traffic split itself looks broken.
