What it does
Overview is the set of reports we picked for you. A board is the one you put together yourself. Build tiles in place with a live preview, or link a saved report so an edit to it shows up on every board that uses it. If one tile fails to load, the rest of the board still does.

Pick a tile, set it up against a live preview, and it lands on the board. Or attach a saved funnel or retention report as a linked tile, so an edit to the report shows up on every board that uses it.

Layout
Arrange it without fiddling, or without a mouse.
Edit layout gives every tile a width of a third, a half, two-thirds or full, and a small, medium or large height. Drag to reorder, or do all of it from the keyboard. Nothing saves until you press Done.
- Arrow keys move, Space or Enter picks up and drops, brackets change width, minus and equals change height.
- Fill row widens a tile to close the gap at the end of its row.
Filters
One filter bar, with honest exceptions.
The date range, source and property filters at the top apply to every tile. A property filter asks whether it applies to matching events only or to people who ever matched. A tile can ignore the board and keep its own range, and it wears a badge that says so.
- Changes stay yours until you press Save as default.
- Filter the whole board to one value straight from a breakdown row.
Evidence
Every number opens onto what’s behind it.
Click a number, a point on a chart or a row to see the events or the people behind it. Start an alert from a tile with “Watch this…”, mark a launch once and see it on every line chart, and give a tile a target to read against.
- Watched tiles wear a Watching pill, or Fired when the alert goes off.
- Targets say on track, below target or above target.

Big number tiles compare with the previous period and colour the change. Turn on Compare and each one also says what it was, and line tiles draw the previous period as a dashed line.

A linked tile points at a saved funnel or retention report, so editing the report updates the tile on every board that uses it. Duplicate it as standalone and you get a copy that lives only on this board.
A property like referrer only exists on some events. Applied to matching events only, the board counts just those events. Applied to people who ever matched, it counts what those people did in the range.
No. Filter changes apply to every tile but only for you, until you press Save as default. Then the board opens that way for everyone.
Each tile loads on its own. A tile that fails says it couldn’t load and offers Retry or Use last 7 days; the rest of the board carries on.
Funnel tiles, retention tiles and big numbers showing pageviews or sessions. “Watch this…” opens Alerts with that metric already picked.
The whole board with the current filters: one row per data point, with the tile, its title and kind, the series, the bucket or label, the value, the previous value and the target.
