About

Analytics that follow the whole journey.

ClickClacks is product analytics for the path people really take: from your marketing site, into your app, and on to the moment they get value.

What ClickClacks is

Most analytics stop at the edge of your website.

Web analytics tell you who visited the site. Product analytics tell you what people did in the app. The interesting question sits between the two: which visits turned into customers, and where did the rest drop out?

ClickClacks puts your marketing site and your app in one project. The same person is followed across both, even when they live on different domains, so funnels, retention, experiments and heatmaps describe one journey rather than two halves.

It covers web analytics, product analytics and behavioural analytics in one place, from a single script tag.

Who it's for

Built for three kinds of team.

01

Agencies

Give each client their own organization, switch between them from one account, and show a client the whole path from the site you built to the product it sells.

02

Indie developers

One script tag and you have pageviews, clicks and scroll depth. Add custom events when you want them, not before.

03

Product teams

Funnels, retention, experiments and heatmaps on the same people, with the marketing site and the app in the same report.

What we believe

A few things we decided early and won't trade away.

  • 01

    One story, not two tools.

A marketing site and a product are two sources in one project, so a funnel can start on a landing page and end on a paid plan. When people cross between your domains we measure how many arrive already recognised, and flag it when that drops.

  • 02

Private before it leaves the browser.

Tokens, passwords, emails and card numbers are stripped from URLs by the tracker, and heatmap captures are masked before they are uploaded. What we never receive, we never have to protect.

  • 03

Numbers you can check whenever you like.

Experiments use one statistical framework everywhere, always-valid intervals, so looking at a running test on day two is as safe as looking on day twenty.

  • 04

    Observed, never assigned.

Friction findings, like rage clicks and stalls, report what people actually ran into. No badges to clear, no to-do list for you to manage. They show up while they are happening and go quiet when they stop.
